Glenshian House

In the serene embrace of Mount Eliza, on the Mornington Peninsula, the Glenshian House emerges as a beacon of modern design and multi-generational harmony. This project was conceived with a profound understanding of family - a place where three generations could find both union and independence.

The architectural narrative of the Glenshian House unfolds through two elegantly composed structures: the central family home and a discreet outbuilding. The main residence stands as the vibrant core of family interaction, while the outbuilding offers a serene retreat, allowing for privacy yet maintaining an intimate connection to the familial hub. These spaces are crafted to fluidly merge, enabling the family to come together in shared experiences.

Set against the picturesque backdrop of a beachside locale, the Glenshian House is a dialogue between contemporary design and the natural world. Employing modern materials and design principles, the residence is carefully integrated into the coastal landscape, reflecting the hues and textures of its surroundings.

At its heart, the Glenshian House is a celebration of family and place. It's a harmonious blend of individuality and togetherness, wrapped in the sophistication of modern architecture, all while resonating with the tranquil beauty of its beachside setting.
